Applimation Joins Veritas Enabled™ Partner Program

Applimation Partners with VERITAS to Offer Customers an Integrated Data Lifecycle Management Solution for Business Critical Applications

LAS VEGAS, May 2004 - Applimation, Inc., the leading provider of application and information lifecycle management solutions for Oracle E-Business Applications, announced today that it has joined the VERITAS Enabled Partner Program and will integrate its enterprise data management software solution, Applimation Informia, with VERITAST Data Lifecycle Manager 5.0 to offer customers a set of joint solutions that unify the management of disparate data formats on a common data lifecycle management platform. Applimation's participation in the program will help ensure that customers have access to tested, validated solutions based on VERITAS software products for integrating heterogeneous storage environments while lowering costs through improved storage utilization and management.

Through the VERITAS Enabled Partner Program, Applimation plans to extend its enterprise data management software, Applimation Informia, to integrate with VERITAS Data Lifecycle Manager 5.0 software. The current release of Applimation Informia delivers comprehensive database archiving, subsetting and tablespace reorganization functionality for organizations running Oracle E- Business Applications. Key features of the next release of Applimation Informia, scheduled for general availability this summer, include "archiving the archive" or automating the encapsulation and delivery of archived data to VERITAS Data Lifecycle Manager. The solution will also enable the automation of several alternatives for retrieving, transforming, and restoring data managed by VERITAS Data Lifecycle Manager back into Oracle Applications for seamless access.
