Applimation Extends Enterprise Data Management Support

Applimation InformiaT Release 5.2 Supports PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel and Custom Archiving on Multiple Databases with Single Architecture

New York, NY - January 31, 2006 - Applimation, Inc., the leading provider of application and information lifecycle management solutions, announced today that it has extended its support for PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel and custom archiving with Applimation Informia Archive Release 5.2. In addition to Oracle, databases supported in the new release include DB2 UDB, DB2 ZOS and SQL Server. All archiving, regardless of application and database, is done with a single, unified technical architecture.

The Applimation Informia solution suite manages the impact of data growth in both production and testing environments. Informia Archive provides flexible archive/purge and optional XML/ILM functionality to quickly reduce the overall size of production databases. It automatically creates a Seamless Access Layer that provides users read-only access to archived data through standard user interfaces.

It features a configurable portlet architecture that enables users to display any dashboard panel alongside other dashboard elements using industry-standard protocols.
