Health Alliance Plan (HAP) Reclaims 67% of Production Environment
After Initial Archive

Health Alliance Plan (HAP) implemented Applimation Informia to reduce the footprint of the Oracle Applications database prior to upgrading to the latest release of the Oracle E-Business Suite. As a result of the initial archive, HAP has realized a tremendous increase in application performance and has begun the application upgrade process with a more manageable database and upgrade window.

HAP has experienced tremendous growth in member and provider subscribers in recent years and as a result, the transactions in their Oracle E-Business Applications environment have grown exponentially. Prior to upgrading to the latest release of the Oracle E-Business Suite, HAP sought out a solution that would help reduce the size of their database environment to a more manageable size. Following a competitive selection process, HAP identified Applimation Informia as the most appropriate solution based on their criteria which included proven technology, comprehensive archiving functionality, seamless data access, flexible deployment options and extensive audit capabilities.
