Applimation Announces Record Q3 Results

Reports YTD Total Revenue Growth of 48%

Chicago, IL – October 22, 2007 – Applimation, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise data management solutions for packaged and custom applications, today announced record revenue for Q3 with a significant jump in new business.  In the third quarter, Applimation secured record level software license sales and achieved steady growth in services. 

New contract bookings increased 54% in Q3 alone while the total revenue in the first three quarters grew 48%.  Contributing to this increase is a mix of product sales from the recently expanded Applimation Enterprise Data Management Suite which includes Informia Archive, Informia Subset and Informia Secure.  Applimation continues to build upon its already expansive customer list with new North American and Global clients including AT&T, General Dynamics, The Johns Hopkins University, Leco Corporation, Broadridge, The UK Department of Work & Pensions, KeyBank, MoneyGram International, Exel Inc, among others in the quarter.

In response to the rapidly evolving data privacy challenges confronting organizations today, Applimation introduced an extensive data security solution in Q3, Informia Secure, which allows for a single installation across multiple applications, databases, operating systems and hardware to ensure complete enterprise protection.  Applimation’s in-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications and PeopleSoft Enterprises also enabled the company to introduce Informia Secure “Accelerators” which enable an enterprise to speed the implementation of its automated data privacy solution.

According to recent research conducted by Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), over one half of organizations indicate that their average primary database instance is growing between 11-30% annually and three quarters of organizations create secondary database instances for user testing, reporting and development purposes.  “The amount of data growth itself is not the problem,” said Brian Babineau, a Senior Analyst with ESG.  “It is the security risks and database application performance that cause nightmares for senior IT executives. Database archiving solutions, such as those available from Applimation, are a rarity in IT as they can mitigate several problems at once:  security, data management and application performance.”
